Dr. Bruhn’s project management and instructional design experience includes over ten years with a major telecommunications firm where she developed an instructional design group and pioneered the use of computer-based training in the corporation.

Dr. Bruhn has continued to provide creative and effective learning experiences during 15 years of consulting with PIL clients. For example, she designed and developed a number of executive and management level workshops and conferences using team-based learning through case studies as the primary learning method.

She has written of articles on training and education for journals such as Performance & Instruction, Training News, Data Training, Thresholds in Education, and the Journal of Instructional Development.

Dr. Bruhn serves on the ISPI Certification “Kitchen Cabinet” and the Northern Illinois University ETRA Business Advisory Council.

She has shared her professional expertise by presenting at the Chicago Chapter of ISPI. She has a doctorate in Adult Education with emphases in research and business and masters degrees in Educational Technology and Counseling.

Dr. Bruhn is a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT).
